Mortgage and commercial broker

Helping you build your financial future.

The broker for strategic property investors. Portfolio thinking, not just loan approvals.

Residential, commercial, SMSF, trust and company, for investors and business owners.

Your goal sets the strategy. The strategy sets the loan.

Most brokers answer one question: can this loan get approved. Tenon Finance starts further back: what are you trying to build, and what does this loan do to the next three moves toward it. Every loan is one decision inside a strategy, and the strategy comes from your goal, not mine.

Rate matters. Structure matters more, and the difference shows up the moment you own more than one property.

Two lending types. Matched to the correct structure.

Lending type

Residential lending

The home you live in, and the ones that grow the portfolio.

Buying to live in or to invest, with the next purchase in view. Self employed and business owners welcome. Already have loans? A refinance and portfolio review can reprice them, release equity and free up borrowing capacity.

Residential lending

Lending type

Commercial lending

Office, industrial, retail, hospitality and mixed use.

Bought as an investment, or as the premises your business runs from. Different rules to residential: usually bigger deposits, terms tied to the lease, and loans that can be assessed on the rent alone.

Commercial lending

Who owns it changes the lending. See trust and company lending or SMSF lending.

I built my own portfolio first, and I have helped others build theirs.

I know the ins and outs because I have been through them: three income types, held in my own name and through trusts and companies, sourced myself and alongside buyers agents.

You get one person who knows the whole picture, not a call centre. I can work with your core team if you have one e.g. accountant, financial planner, buyers agent, lawyer, conveyancer or quantity surveyors. If you do not have a core team yet, I can introduce you to professionals I use personally. It does not end at settlement, with pricing reviews and portfolio valuations so your strategy stays current, and on track for the goal you set.
